ey’ll deliver food even when Isaac hits the SBC, going so far to offer a coupon for $3 dollars off. “Batten down your hatches and keep indoors,” reads the ad. “GoWaiter will brave the storm to make sure you’re fed.”

Some folks might say what GoWaiter is doing is in bad taste. Personally, I think it’s pretty cool that there’s a service like this in town. Friends who have worked in pizza delivery have told me that they get busier when it rains, so it’s win/win.

Imagine with me if you will, tomorrow evening … what if I get a Monjuni’s craving and NEED an order of shrimp toast while Isaac is spitting water all over Shreveport Bossier City. The roads would be flooded, the debris, and the insanity of people driving terribly. I would thank the good Lord for the GoWaiter driver who would arrive at my apartment complex, run up the stairs in a torrential downpour. While carrying my hot delicious snack.
